CYRENE building synergies between cybersecurity research and operational security

One of CYRENE’s key partners: Focal Point represented by Prof. Nineta Polemi met with EEAS-ESDC ( (Dirk Dubois- Director; Dr. Marios Thomas, Dr Gregor Schaffrath) and CERT-EU ( Laurento Frittella, Sara Spinelli) to build synergies between cybersecurity research and operational security. In particular she presented the efforts made in incident handling and risk assessment among others in the context of CYRENE as well.
EEAS-ESDC launched an exploitation activity that Prof. Polemi had the honor to be invited and participate in further exploting the clustering between research achievements and activities to benefit the cybersecurity operational efforts.
