The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), is organizing a Digital Sustainability Forum on the EU Cybersecurity certification for businesses together with policy-makers on March 31, 2021, at 13:00 -14:45 EET hours.

The event aims to lay out the key attributes of cybersecurity certification of ICT products, ICT processes and ICT services in the EU, to provide background information on the development of Cybersecurity certification schemes, and the impact this has for related business and opportunities in this field.

There will be a workshop that will allow attendees to deep dive into the world of cybersecurity Cloud certification. The workshop will also highlight the impact and benefits of adopting the new standards and obtaining certification. Andreas Mitrakas, Head of Market, Certification and Standardization Unit of the Agency, will provide an introduction into this topic. Eric Vétillard, the Lead certification expert within ENISA, responsible for the design and development of this Cloud scheme, will present and host the workshop.

ENISA has undertaken the important role as the EU Agency for Cybersecurity in the establishment of a European cybersecurity certification framework by developing cybersecurity certification schemes in close collaboration with the European Union Commission and Member States.
