The Slide2Open Shipping Finance Conference took place in Athens on Wednesday 2 & Thursday 3 March 2022 and was also live streamed via its 3D Virtual Venue approximately attracting more than 10.000 attendees from 80 countries.

ZELUS was invited in the “The Seaports of the Future” session which took place the second day of the conference to present the research projects it’s contributing to, as part of the EU’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation program. The session was organized by the DataPorts project in association with OTE Group of Companies in order to demonstrate EU initiatives towards the seaports/ shipping and Maritime transformation from a research point of view.

In this context, ZELUS’ Delivery Manager Dora Kallipolitou presented the CYRENE project, and elaborated on how the consortium is contributing to the improvement of the certifying processes and tools of the Security and Resilience of Supply Chain Services. The project gained visibility to more than 6000 viewers that attended the session (data statistics provided by the event organizer) and initiated collaboration discussions with projects and experts in the field of supply chain and in particular in the services being offered by port authorities and shipping companies such as VITAL-5G.
